Merry Mildenhall was a great success again this year, with a packed schedule of entertainment all evening and attended by crowds of people from Mildenhall and the surrounding villages.

Commemorative Services at Mildenhall and West Row

Wreaths were laid during the Commemorative Services at Mildenhall and West Row War Memorials on 10th and 11th November. These moving ceremonies were organised by the local branch of the Royal British Legion, with help from volunteers and the Mildenhall parish office.

The Suffolk Royal British Legion commemoration of the centenary of the 1918 Armistice was well represented in Mildenhall yesterday at 11 o'clock. Communities visited 248 cemeteries in the county that contain war graves from the Great War of 1914-1918. Mildenhall Parish Council are proud to unveil three beautiful remembrance benches in support of the very special commemoration of the end of the First World War where so many made the ultimate sacrifice.
The benches are sited opposite the bus station in Mildenhall and at the War memorial in West Row.

The sun shone while the River Lark Catchment Partnership volunteers carried out their work on Saturday 3rd November:
